My name is Will Myddelton. I'm a product person who used to be a user-centred designer. I’ve worked for Local Welcome, the Government Digital Service (GDS) and commercial design agencies. I’m looking for a new product role - email me on myddelton@gmail.com!
If I had to pick three posts that sum me up:
Things I learned at Local Welcome - lessons I’ve learned about product management
Building using our riskiest assumptions - my approach to early-stage products
40 lessons - a bunch of pretty personal things I’ve learned about myself, work and life
I grew up in North London. I spent ten years in Manchester. I used to be a musician. I love my girlfriend and my cat. I care about people but I like to challenge them too. I speak too much but I'm working on listening more. I'm figuring out what it means to lead other people rather than do all the work myself. And I'm determined to avoid burning out again.
I only post here when I have something definite to say. For more little-and-often and less formal thoughts sign up to my email newsletter. Say hello on @myddelton.
